Hello. I’m Nick and I run Purbeck Pixels. I’ve been making websites and administering web servers for nearly 20 years. Before that I studied computer science and psychology at the University of Worcester. These days I specialize in WordPress website design and development, and I’m based on the Isle of Purbeck, in Dorset, UK.

When I’m not making websites I’m advocating for (re-)decentralizing the web, reading (some of my favourite books are The Dharma Bums and Big Sur by Jack Kerouac, Wolf: A False Memoir and A Good Day to Die by Jim Harrison, A Beautiful Mind by Sylvia Nasar and Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson), watching films (favourites are The Big Lebowski, Withnail and I, Wonder Boys, Almost Famous, All the President’s Men, Dazed and Confused and As Good as It Gets), supporting Chelsea Football Club and walking in the beautiful Purbeck countryside.
