Hello. I’m Nick and I run Purbeck Pixels. I’ve been designing, developing and building websites and administering web servers for over 15 years. Before that I studied computer science and psychology at Weymouth College and the University of Worcester. Today I specialize in WordPress website design, development and support, and I’m based on the Isle of Purbeck, in Dorset, UK.
When I’m not building websites I’m reading (some of my favourite books are The Dharma Bums and Big Sur by Jack Kerouac, Fear and Loathing in America by Hunter S. Thompson, Wolf: A False Memoir by Jim Harrison, Birth of a Theorem: A Mathematical Adventure by Cedric Villani and Che Guevara: A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson), watching films (favourites are The Big Lebowski, Withnail and I, Wonder Boys, Almost Famous, All the President’s Men, Dazed and Confused and As Good as it Gets), listening to music, supporting Chelsea Football Club and walking in the beautiful Purbeck countryside.
If you want to know more about me and what I do, feel free to send me an email.
